Trusted Intelligence Partners
A quarter into 2020, and we have already seen a deluge of global challenges: COVID-19, US-Iranian tensions leading to the brink of war, the intensification of geo-political conflicts, ransomware outbreaks, and the continued expansion of disinformation campaigns — amongst many others.
During these uncertain times, I’m proud to see Flashpoint serve our customers as a critical resource for trusted data, intelligence, and support.

Our team aims to be the trusted stalwart that our customers can always rely on in the most difficult of circumstances. Organizations in both the enterprise and public sector are looking for a partner who answers the phone at 10pm on a Friday to help them navigate a challenging and sensitive issue–at Flashpoint, we strive to serve as a trusted extension of their team.
In a similar vein, last month our VP Intel Tom Hofmann and I wrote about the U.S. Department of Justice memo, “Legal Considerations when Gathering Online Cyber Threat Intelligence and Purchasing Data from Illicit Sources”, which highlights the need for a trusted and experienced partner in gathering intelligence from a broad array of illicit communities.
And in February, I attended the RSA conference, where the volume of noise on the expo floor stood out — with a seemingly endless sea of vendors purporting to offer a magic bullet solution for every problem.
During a panel at AGC, referencing the fog pervading the show floor, I commented that regardless of any functionality a vendor could deliver on, trust is the most valuable asset they could invest in.
As the industry noise grows louder, trust will only increase as one of the most critical differentiating factors of which vendors can best support the industry’s needs
As we head into our eleventh year, buttressed by industry veterans like Chris Camacho, Glenn Lemons, Mike Smola, Curtis Gartenmann, we look forward to continuing to work hand in hand with our customers and the community to tackle complex challenges.
In the coming weeks and months, you’ll be seeing new content from us focusing on our trusted experts, trusted partners, and ultimately, the trusted intelligence we deliver. I look forward to continuing these conversations as we share how we advance our mission to create a safer world.
